Giada Silenzi is a PhD student in Linguistic and Literary Sciences (University of Udine and Trieste). Her dissertation focuses on the captivity narratives of Port-Royal nuns. Her research explores 17th-century biographical and autobiographical writings by monastic women in France and New France from a rhetorical, enunciative, and discursive perspective.
